HUNTSVILLE, Alabama — Yondarius Johnson usually does his work on the defensive end for the
Southern men’s basketball team.
Saturday night, however, with Alabama A&M focusing on Malcolm Miller, the preseason Southwestern Athletic Conference Player of the Year, Johnson got a chance to show off his offensive skills.
He didn’t disappoint.
Johnson scored a game-high 22 points on 8-of-12 shooting, grabbed seven rebounds and had two steals in 34 minutes to help the Jaguars turn back the Bulldogs 70-62 in Elmore Gym.
