Brown made all four of his 3-pointers in the first half to lead the Tigers (20-4) to a 40-34 advantage at the break. The final score was their largest lead of the game.

Rafeal Adams scored 12 points, Ronald Singleton had 10 points and five steals, and Antonio Penny had eight assists for Stillman, in its first NAIA season after many years in NCAA Division II. The Tigers shot 50 percent from the floor, had 21 assists on 22 field goals and produced 15 steals to extend its win streak to eight games.

XULA shot 30 percent from the floor, 19.4 percent in the second half.

XULA will visit city and Gulf Coast Athletic Conference rival Dillard for a 4:30 p.m. Saturday game. Dillard has clinched a tie for the GCAC regular-season championship and is ranked seventh in the NAIA. WNOL will televise the game live. XULA fans who attend the doubleheader are asked to wear gold.
