WIL PETERS |
“I appreciate all the support from family and
friends. This is only the beginning. All the praise and glory to God,”Peters
said shortly after inking the deal. “One of the scriptures I stood by is
Galatians 6:9: ‘and let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall
reap is we faint not.’”
Last season, the Sixers went 10-12 in Group
North, which tied the club for seventh place. The squad also had two
American-born players in Jeremie Simmons (Ohio State) and Paul Harrison (North
Greenville).
Peters starred for the Tigers from 2008-2012,
amassing 951 career points and 386 assists.
The Sixers will begin its season in the first
week of October.
