INDIANAPOLIS -- Shaheer McBride isn't used to working slowly. Most wide receivers pride themselves on speed and quickness. But at the NFL scouting combine, he's doing his best to stay patient.
Prospects hurry from interview to interview with teams. They undergo physical exams. They run through drills. They take intelligence tests. "It's a long process," said McBride, a former Delaware State standout. "It's a lot of stuff you have to go through. You definitely have to be patient."
