Boubacar Coly scored 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as Morgan State hung on for a 66-62 overtime victory against visiting Hampton on Monday. Hampton took its first lead of the game 8 seconds into overtime on a 3-pointer by Matthew Pilgrim.
But Jerrell Green scored nine of his 13 points in the extra session and Morgan State made five free throws in the final 47 seconds. Green added five assists, while Marquise Kately finished with 13 points and 10 rebounds for Morgan State (18-9, 12-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).
