DOVER -- Virtually all season, Delaware State men's basketball coach Greg Jackson has served notice he's looking for players who will give their best effort, and then some, every game. To his dismay, that particular request has gone largely unanswered, according to him, with one notable exception.
Sophomore center Frisco Sandidge, perhaps the one Hornets player who's made a difference by contributing a consistent effort, produced his best game of the season Saturday in a 49-44 victory over Bethune-Cookman before 1,031 at Memorial Hall.
