NEWARK, DE -- Delaware State University's Jasmine Rogers and Nekisha Franklin recorded first-place finishes on the women's side of the Thomson Invitational indoor track and field meet on Saturday at the University of Delaware, while Donte Holmes and two Hornets relay teams won for the men.
The Delaware State men placed third with 96 points, trailing Temple (149 1¼2) and Monmouth (129). The DSU women were fourth with 73 1¼2 points, behind Delaware (137 1¼2), Temple (133 1¼2) and Maryland (92 1¼2) in the 12-team field.
