BALTIMORE, MD - Morgan State’s men’s basketball team, just two years removed from a four-win season, has won five straight games to ascend to the top the Mid-Eastern Atlantic Conference. The Bears are off to their best start in 29 years and have a chance to qualify for a postseason tournament for the first time as Division I school, yet Coach Todd Bozeman is quick to put it all in perspective.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” he said. “We play Delaware State [today].” The Bears (12-8, 7-1 MEAC) cannot afford to look ahead. After all, opponents will not be looking past them. “When you have that bull’s eye on your back,” Bozeman said, “everybody’s gonna get up for you.”
