NORFOLK -Rachel Butler scored 14 points and Quanneisha Perry added 13 to lead the Hampton University women over Norfolk State 68-51 at Echols Hall. The Pirates (12-7, 6-1 MEAC) shot 60 percent in the second half to pull away. Norfolk State (3-14, 0-7) was led by Raychele Payne with 18 points. Genor Dalton and Ebony Gibbs added 10 each for the Spartans, who are playing with just seven players on the roster.
