S.C. State Bulldogs, Howard Bison both hungry for MEAC win

ORANGEBURG, South Carolina -- Just so you know, there are going to be some hungry Bulldogs and hungry Bison in town today!

The South Carolina State Bulldogs football team will play host to the Howard Bison in a 2 p.m. Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference game on Willie E. Jeffries Field inside Oliver C. Dawson Bulldog Stadium.

The Bulldogs are 2-3 overall and 1-1 in MEAC play, coming off back-to-back losses at Furman and Bethune-Cookman the past two weeks.

Meanwhile, the Bison are winless at 0-5 overall, 0-3 in MEAC play, coming off their team’s bye week.

To say that both programs are hungry for a win is an understatement. However, to say that either is desperate for a win would be taking it a little too far.
