Division I/FCS
Grambling State's 35-34 overtime win over Alcorn State caused a shuffling of positions. The Tigers' victory coupled with North Carolina A&T's 24-14 win over Bethune Cookman, vaulted the Aggies and Tigers into higher positions while Alcorn State fell to third place and B-CU fell to fourth. South Carolina State moved up to fifth after knocking off Howard, 49-10. Prairie View A&M's 47-42 win over Southern, pushed the Panthers into the sixth position. North Carolina Central's comeback win over Savannah State sent the Eagles back into the Top 10 replacing Morgan State, who lost homecoming to Hampton, 20-10.
Division II/NAIA
Tuskegee held Stillman College to just 165 total yards offensively en route to a 49-20 SIAC victory and remained #1 in the HSRN Poll. Virginia Union kept pace with a key CIAA win over Chowan, 33-14 to remain #2 in the poll. Bowie State made it four-in-a-row by spoiling homecoming for Virginia State, 22-19 moving the Bulldogs into the #3 position. VSU dropped to #4 and Elizabeth City State climbed to #5 following a 28-10 homecoming win over Lincoln (PA).
