EAST JACKSON, Tennessee -- Alumni, faculty, students and fans will gather around this weekend for Lane College's homecoming.
The football team's presence is minimal in the festivities.
The Dragons are focusing on ending a seven year homecoming losing streak.
"We haven't won a homecoming since 2008," head coach Derrick Burroughs said.
Lane is also looking to end their two-year drought of a home win.
"We deserve it for ourselves and our fans," senior Gabriel Mass said.
Despite the odds at Lane Field, the team remains hopeful.
